Hi There! My name is Vivian

Hello! I’m Vivian (she/her), a lifelong educator, second-generation Chinese Canadian currently working towards a Master’s in Counselling. With over 25 years of experience as a teacher and advocate for children and families, I bring a deep understanding of human development, communication, and care into my work as a counsellor-in-training.

I offer a supportive and reflective space for individuals who are navigating the everyday challenges and complexities of life. Whether you’re facing stress, uncertainty, emotional overwhelm, or simply looking for a place to slow down and hear your own voice, I am here to walk alongside you. I am especially interested in working with women who are navigating the many changes that come during perimenopause and menopause, and the impact these experiences can have on daily life and self-understanding. I also enjoy working with young adults who are stepping into adulthood, learning to navigate life beyond the structure of school or family expectations and entering the workforce.

My counselling approach is warm, relational, and grounded in deep respect for your lived experience. I believe that meaningful change begins with compassionate self-awareness, and I aim to help clients reconnect with their strengths, values, and inner resources. In our work together, you can expect space to reflect, feel heard, and explore what matters most to you—at your own pace!

When I’m not working, studying, or gardening, I love spending time with my family, friends, and my playful labradoodle, whose boundless energy is a daily reminder to stay present and lighthearted.
